My Background and Practice

I have been practising Five Element Acupuncture in Glasgow for the past 25 years. I have helped thousands of patients with problems such as migraine, back pain, fertility issues, skin issues, emotional problems, depression and anxiety.

I trained at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, founded by the late J.R. Worsley. Credited with bringing Five Element Acupuncture to the West. I was a faculty member of the College of Traditional Acupuncture (Glasgow).

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN) and for five years was an associate of the Natural Fertility Centre (NFC) in Edinburgh, helping thousands of couples with their fertility problems.

I have become one of Scotland’s leading experts in Traditional Five Element Acupuncture and fertility.

I believe what makes this ancient system of medicines so uniquely suited to modern life is that physical, emotional and mental aspects are seen as interdependent, and this reflexes what many people perceive as the connection between the different aspects of their lives.

The focus of Five Element Acupuncture is on the individual, not just their illness, and all symptoms are observed in a relationship with each other.

Each patient is unique and two people with the same western medical diagnosis may well receive different acupuncture treatments.
